Travel & Stay

Sonoma County offers plenty of great places to stay for visitors from all over! We will have a hotel block in Petaluma, but we also have other recommendations in Petaluma or some local Sonoma favorites. We encourage you all to book your accommodations as early as you can, because it’s a busy wedding weekend. Any remaining rooms in the block after May 3 will be released to the public.

Hotel Blocks

The Hampton Inn Petaluma

This is our preferred block, and where the Erin & Chris will be staying and is 0.5 miles away from downtown Petaluma! 👰‍♀️ 🤵‍♂️ An optional shuttle to the wedding will be from this location, and you’ll be able to RSVP for a seat when you receive your invitation.

Transportation & Parking

We will be planning a shuttle from the Hampton Inn in Petaluma for those interested and you’ll be able to sign up when invitations are sent in the spring! 

However if you choose to stay in Sonoma or in a different area, the Barn at Harrow Cellars will have decent parking on site, or you can choose to Uber. Availability is usually okay for wine country, so just try to call a car with some extra time to spare! The ceremony will begin promptly at 5pm, but guests will be seated starting at 4:30pm.

Flights 

To get to Sonoma / Petaluma by air, you have a couple options!

  • Both Sacramento Airport (SMF) and San Francisco Airports (SFO) are about 1.5 hours away from Sonoma.

    • We’d recommend renting a car and driving from those airports, but if you’d rather not rent a car, you can fly into SFO and book a $51 one-way shuttle which will take you to/ from the airport to Sonoma and Petaluma. You can book or view the schedule here.

  • Sonoma County Airport (STS) is also a regional airport with many direct flights from Southern California! Travel time is about 30-45 minutes, depending on if you’re going to Sonoma or Petaluma.
